Annual 4-wheeling trip

7 Oct

This weekend was the annual 4-wheeling trip that the men take in the fall. Strong thunderstorms and showers moved in on Saturday morning followed by extremely warm weather in the mid-70s. The warm weather also brought out the bugs which is highly unusual for the month of October. Their trip this year took them north of Iron Mountain where they found a lot of good trail riding. We’ve uploaded some pictures that Greg took throughout the weekend.

The women, on the other hand, stayed in Iron Mountain where Leah’s grandma came for the weekend. They went to the Iron Mountain-Kingsford football game on Saturday and watched Kingsford pummel Iron Mountain, 47-0 (go Flivvers!).

Sunday, with temperatures in the 80s (89° at one point), it felt more like summer than fall. Monday is supposed to be nice, but then cool off and be more fall-like the rest of the week.
