A restful weekend
2 Jul
This past weekend we went to Nahma for the first time in almost a month. The weather was comfortable but the water was a little chilly because of a north wind. On Saturday, Leah’s dad and I went salmon fishing with Vicki & John (relative/neighbor) in their boat. We didn’t manage to catch any fish but I’m blaming it on the north wind. The 20-30 minute boat ride there took over an hour to get in because of 4-5 ft. waves. It was quite the wild ride. Sunday was another relaxing day with a barbecue on the new grill. Leah’s aunt, uncle and kids (Lily & Chloe a.k.a. our goddaughter) came by for a few hours. We had an enjoyable visit with them.
The pictures below contain the beautiful moon rise on Friday night and some pictures of the kids.
New pictures of our trip on the shutterfly website have been delayed. We left the laptop in Nahma this past weekend. Oops!
